How to Run a Report

To run a report, use the following steps:

  1. Select a report from the folder.
  2. Choose your format:
    • Either click the PDF or XLS icons directly on the report tile,
    • Or use the dropdown next to Run to choose your desired format: PDF, XLS, XLSX, or CSV.

NOTE: By default, when you click Run, the report will generate as a PDF, so be sure to select the correct format before running the report if you prefer a different one.

Filters and Settings

The filter and setting tools enable you to customize report results by adjusting date ranges, filtering specific categories, or modifying display preferences.

  Feature Description
1 Date Filters Many reports include date filters. Simply click the calendar icon to set your desired date range. You can also adjust the time using the clock icon.
2 Dropdown Filters To limit data, select specific sites, assets, or reasons by clicking in the filter boxes. You can also type values directly into the fields using the "ABC" checkbox option.
3 Gear Icon Many reports include date filters. Simply click the calendar icon to set your desired date range. You can also adjust the time using the clock icon.

PDF Reports:

  • Once you've set your filters, click Run. The report will generate in the selected format. For PDF reports, you can change filters and re-run the report directly from the preview screen if needed.

Excel Reports

  • Running reports in Excel works similarly. After running a report in an Excel format, the file will be downloaded to your browser’s download tray. You can open the file, enable editing, and make changes as needed.
