How to Attach Files to a Work Order

Attaching files to Work Order Types in LLumin CMMS+ helps streamline the work order process by ensuring that critical documentation is automatically included when creating work orders.

How to Attach Files to Work Order Types

Follow these steps to attach a file to a Work Order Type:

  1. Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select Admin Mode.

  3. In Admin Mode, select Assets & Work Management.

  4. Then, click Work Order Types.

  5. Double-click the desired Work Order Type or select the checkbox next to it and click View.

  6. Select the Forms tab.

  7. Click Add a File.

  8. Once the file appears in the Forms tab:

      • Hover over the file to reveal the gear icon in the top left corner.

      • Click the gear icon to open file options.
  9. Set the file options:
      • Attach Automatically – Choose whether the document will automatically attach to every Work Order of this type.
      • Require Completion – Choose whether the document must be filled out before or after work is started or completed.
      • Availability on Mobile – Choose whether the document will be available when completing a Work Order of this type on a mobile device. 
    • NOTE: If the file is a required safety document, check Require Filling Before Work Is Started.

  10. Click Update.
  11. Then, click Save to finalize your changes.
