In LLumin CMMS+, an asset can be designated as equipment. For example, a gantry crane, hoist, or mobile compressor with its own dedicated maintenance plan. Once marked as equipment, the asset can also be assigned to work orders.
Instructions
Follow these steps to set an asset as equipment:
Go to Assets > View Assets.
- Open an asset using via the Asset Finder.
Click the Performance tab.
Select the Production Information module.
Check the Available as Equipment box. This indicates the asset is available to the maintenance department for assignment to work orders.
- Once selected, two additional fields appear:
- Enter the Estimated Cost per Hour: Enter the rental or usage cost for this equipment.
Enter the Power Plant Name: Select the divisions where this equipment can be used. Leave blank to make it available for all sites.
- Click Save to confirm the changes.
