How to Configure Work Request Criteria for a Work Order Type

Overview

Work Request Criteria determine whether a Work Order Type is available on Work Requests and whether surveys or checklists are required when a request is submitted.

Configure Work Request Criteria

  1. Select the Gear icon in the top navigation bar, and then select Admin Mode.

     

  2. Select Asset & Work Management > Work Order Types.

     

  3. In the Work Order Type Finder, select the Work Order Type you want to configure, and then select View.

     

  4. Select the Work Request Criteria card.

     

Make the Work Order Type available on Work Requests

  1. Select Available on Work Requests.

  • When this setting is enabled:
    • Requesters can select this Work Order Type when submitting a Work Request.
    • The Send Survey and Enable Work Request Checklist options become editable.

Enable surveys

  1. To send a satisfaction survey when Work Orders of this Type are completed, select Send Survey. This option is only available when the Type is enabled for Work Requests.

Enable a Work Request Checklist

  1. To require requesters to complete a checklist, select Enable Work Request Checklist.

  2. Select Add Step Group to create the first group of checklist steps, and then enter a name for the step group.
  3. Select Add Step to create an individual checklist step.
  4. Select Save.

Work Request Criteria for this Work Order Type are now configured.
