How to Add and Manage Sub Statuses

Overview

Sub Statuses provide additional detail beneath a primary Work Order Status. They allow organizations to differentiate more granular workflow stages. You can add Sub Statuses beneath any status that supports editing.

Add a Sub Status

  1. Select the Gear icon in the top navigation bar, and then select Admin Mode.

     

  2. Select Asset & Work Management > Work Order Statuses.

     

  3. Locate the Status where you want to add a Sub Status.
  4. Select Add Sub Status.

     

  5. Enter a Status Number to determine the order of the Sub Statuses.
    • Status Number controls top-to-bottom display order.

       

  6. Enter a Description for the Sub Status.

     

  7. Select Save. The Sub Status now appears beneath its parent status.

Edit a Sub Status

  1. Find the Sub Status in the Status list.
  2. Select Edit next to the Sub Status name.

     

  3. Update the Description as needed.

Note: The Status Number cannot be changed after creation.
  1. Select Save.

Delete a Sub Status

  1. Select the Delete icon next to the Sub Status.

     

  2. Review the confirmation prompt and select Yes to delete.

     

  3. Select Save at the bottom of the screen to finalize the change.

The selected Sub Status is now removed.
