Assets in LLumin are used to track your machines, facilities, buildings, vehicles, and more. Creating Assets allows for valuable tracking of their status, maintenance history historical performance, profitability, and other metrics.
Instructions
To create a new Asset, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to the Assets drop-down menu on the menu bar.
- Select Create Asset.
- On the Create an Asset screen select an Asset Type, enter an Asset ID, and provide a Description. The screen will present different optional fields based on the selected Asset Type.
- Select the Plant, Area, Work Cell, and Parent Asset. These fields make up the asset’s organizational structure.
- Fill out all other information you need for your asset.
NOTE: Only fields with an asterisk (*) are required by the system.
- Click Create at the bottom of the page to create the Asset.
